Magog occurs as little city inside southeastern Quebec, Canada at the confluence of Lac Memphrémagog, with a Rivière au Saumon and the Magog River in the Regional County Municipality of Memphrémagog. Around 2002 a City of Magog wwhen merged with a Town of Magog & the Village of Omerville as section of the municipal reorganization in Quebec
For many generations it was the a single-industry textile manufacturing town. Patch the independent plant is however there, Magog has be a centre of a vacation spot, by owning shops & services catering to vacationist & holidaymaker.
